Aitkens welcomes Matt Porter to the team as Technical Sales Representative in North West England

Aitkens are proud to welcome Matt Porter to the company in the position of Technical Sales Representative. Matt has gained experience within the industry in his role as a greenkeeper at Ingol Golf Club, groundsman at Leigh Sports Village and trading experience selling line marking machines and paints.

More recently, the 26-year-old worked for a contractor, where he had the overall responsibility of growing in new constructions. His is experience in different areas of the industry will be invaluable, as he begins his work in the North West of England.

Matt joins the company as it celebrates 25 years serving the sports turf industry, with a range of 919 products that are used throughout the landscaping and sports turf industry.

Speaking on the new appointment, Richard Aitken said: "We are very pleased to have Matt working with us, especially with his knowledge and understanding.

"Because we work directly with clubs and contractors it's vital to have someone who knows the different demands of each sector, making him able to advise from first hand experience.

"Matt has come to us after a successful 2015 that has seen our Award fertiliser range deliver impressive results across the UK. We are sure that he can help continue our growth into 2016 and beyond."
